TRANSFER TALK: CHELSEA SIGN GIULIA DRAGONI

Chelsea Women have completed the signing of Italy youth international Giulia Dragoni from Barcelona.
The Blues were interested in the player for her versatility and ability to play across multiple attacking positions and have been tracking her for years, hoping to rebuild their squad after a mixed domestic season.
Dragoni joined Barcelona in 2023 after graduating from Inter Milan's academy and spent the last two terms on loan at AC Roma, and becomes the Blues' fourth signing this summer. She made her international debut at 16 for Italy and now has 24 caps.
'I still can't believe I have signed for Chelsea'. Dragoni told club media.
'When I was a child, not even in my biggest dreams did I think I would sign for Chelsea. It's unbelievable. I'm really excited. I spoke with [manager] Sonia Bompastor and she introduced me to the project here and showed me the possibilities.
We all know Chelsea is one of the best clubs in the world so it wasn't hard to convince me to come here'.
